An emotional MARK TAUBITZ has taken out his first race win in the Porsche 944 Challenge Series, claiming victory in Race 1, of Round 2, of the 2024 944 Challenge Series at Winton Motor Raceway.

Taubitz has raced in the category for 10 years and claimed his first victory driving the No. 66 Pipecraft car.

The race was initially led by pole sitter and 2X champion Jamie Westaway, however he would suffer a clutch failure mid race and Taubitz seized his opportunity, having earlier claimed second spot in qualifying.
